  1. Best brother in law a person could have.
Sidney told it just like it is.
He had great compassion for humanity. He was very a intelligent leader, teacher and counselor. He will always have a place in my heart and be missed. May the creator reward him for his great works. Rest in peace dear brother in law.

  8. I am saddened to hear about our Bishop going home. Saddened because I will not be seeing him,and not being able to talk to him. Bishop was easy to talk. When I had questions he had the right answers. When I began a member at Pilgrims, he encouraged me to start back playing the keyboards for church. I hadn’t played in over 20 years. I don’t believe that I would be playing today if it had not been for him pushing me and telling me that I could it and not to be afraid. I will miss Bishop, especially on the 1st Sundays when he came down from the pulpit for the Lords Supper. As far as I am concerned, that spot can never be filled. He was a man of God that was not afraId to tell it like it is. Sometimes in a humorous way. Whenever I mentioned bishop to my son, he would start singing”I feel good, good, good”. That’s a song he learned from Bishop. I love Bishop Griffin, and will never forget.him.May God keep and watch over his family.May God keep Pastor Griffin strong and continue to guide her as Pastor of Pilgrims and all that she does for the community. She’s does so much in many places. Thankful that Pilgrim has here.
