INTERMENT:
Mother Thomas was a friend, confidante, sage, and spiritual grandmotherly example to me. She and I tag-teamed in teaching primaries on Sundays. She taught me how to make chicken & dumplings. She also taught me how to make meal modifications for best results to fight high blood pressure (no more dumplings… Lol!) All in all, she was lovely, exquisite, giving, kind, loving, funny yet serious … A real well-rounded renaissance woman. She loved The Lord Jesus Christ, her king Mr. Thomas, and her family! Guess what? … She made my family and me feel like we were her family too. Her gift of love and wisdom made room for her … especially in our hearts! Enter into your rest, sweet “Ma Thomas”.
