Aaron Passmore Jr, was, a loving husband, a cherished father, dedicated son, supportive brother and loyal friend whose life touched countless hearts. His passion for family showed in everything he did.

Born to loving parents, Aaron Sr. and Mildred Passmore, lovingly called Junior by his siblings, family and close friends. Aaron’s father died early in the family’s life and he helped his Mother raise his younger brothers and sisters.

Aaron was a proud resident of Detroit his entire life. He took pride in knowing the city’s history and would tell you about it frequently. As a husband, he was supportive, kind, and always put his family first. As a father, he encouraged his kids, nieces and nephews to maintain values of integrity, compassion, and perseverance. He often said, “Life ain’t fair. You gotta take what you were given and create your own way in life. Nobody’s going to feel sorry for you and make it easy for you”. He had a gruff personality but once you got to know him his warmth, wisdom, and generosity earned him the admiration and respect of colleagues, friends, and neighbors alike.

Aaron’s influence will continue to inspire long after his passing. His legacy of love, dedication, and service will remain in the hearts of all who knew him, a lasting testament to a life well-lived.

Aaron is survived by his wife, Sylvia Passmore, children Kevin Hamilton, Jennifer Benton, Ryan Passmore and step daughter Christina (Dorian) Davis.

Grand children, Butler Benton IV and Savannah Benton.

Step-grandchildren, Dorian Davis Jr., Bradley Davis,

Talia Davis, Logan Davis, Carter Davis and Julian Davis.
