Timothy (Tim) Aaron Myer, 53, of Detroit MI passed away December 20, 2024. Tim died with friends by his side at Henry Ford Hospital after a lengthy stay due to sepsis.

Tim was a loving partner, father, son, brother, and friend.

He is survived by his partner of 17 years Chinwe Opara, and their son Damien, his older children Coryn and Aaron Myer, and 3 step children Kayla, Hakim, and Arianna. He also leaves behind his six sisters Rebecca Adams, Tammy Webster, Christine Bunch, Kathleen Myer, Nanette (Mark) Marquardt, and Sarah Myer. He was part of very large family filled with loving Aunts, Uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents William Myer and Virginia (Weis) Rorabacher, and brother William.

Tim spent most of his adult years self-employed while working in many aspects of construction, always being open to learning new skills.

He enjoyed time with family and joining in adventures. Tim camped in the mountains of Colorado and rafted the Colorado river through West Water Canyon.

Tim had a great sense of humor that kept his family laughing. Being the youngest of 8 children he was adored by his mother.

Tim went out of his way to help others as best he could. He spent several years helping his father build his house and sawmill out west. Tim created many close bonds in his community, he was loved and very much appreciated by his friends and neighbors on Gladstone Street.

Tim's laughter and stories will be greatly missed.
